This workshop will combine didactic and experiential methods to reveal how groups develop unconscious tendencies to become dependent, move into fight/flight mode, and tacitly elect members of the group to form pairs. After an introductory lecture, participants will engage in a series of problem-solving activities on the challenge course.
Upon Completion of the Workshop, participants will:
1. Be able to recognize Basic Assumption behavior in groups 2. Identify how physical challenges may influence group behavior 3. Analyze group behavior and apply to clinical and professional contexts 4. Develop and enhance leadership skills 5. Identify various roles that group members take on
